From her roots as a dancer to
her education in studio art,
Sheila has spent the majority
of her life expressing herself
through art in one form or
another.
Sheila also brought her love of
art and children together in the
class room as an art teacher.
It was again those two loves that pushed her most recent artistic endeavor: illustrator and author.
First published in 2008 was the
tale of “Marco Flamingo.”
Her second book in the Marco series, “The adventures of Marco Flamingo Under the Sea,” was released in
Fall 2009. She is currently working on the third book, "The adventures of Marco Flamingo In the Jungle,”
to be released in 2010.
